Battery securing method?

For some reason the bar that is supposed to hold my battery down is too high...it won't go any further down...so my battery moves when I turn a curve etc....is there a mod to remedy this?

or you could get some sort of ratcheting tie downs i guess. not sure how they would hold up to the heat of the engine

Yeah, I tried super glue and I got stuck to my engine for a week and a half!

I will McGyver something I guess. Anyone got any paper clips?

Well, depending on the height difference..you can do one of two things. If its a big difference, put some sort of spacer underneath the battery. If its a small difference just put some rubber strips underneath the bracket supports. Wish I would have saw about 30 mins ago, I would have sent you the extra Optima spacer that I have.
