Purchased new battery, group 31, die hard over the weekend. Cables 1/2 inch short. Suggestions?

If you do a search on the dual battery set up's, I think somebody else ran into the same problem with their battery and somewhere in there they described a solution. But I am getting old and my memory is getting even older. Good luck. Stay Safe.
