seem to be having an issue post big3 where im getting a lot of corrosion on the battery terminals and the wires attached. happening on both pos/neg terminals.

can someone tell me where this wire is supposed to run to?

any other suggestions? im checking resistance on my cables & cleaning all connections (again). also going to find a better location to ground the frame and body to the battery.

It’s your battery causing the corrosion. Maintenance free batteries vent out of the posts when the internal valving can’t cope with the gasses.

I conductive grease like No-oxide will keep the acid from corroding the posts and terminals.

Any number of corrosion inhibitors will help - I have more recently been doing a spray of Fluid Film on my posts. A new/better battery (that vents less) will help.

Is that the one that goes to the ground side of the battery? If so, it routes down and connects to the block next to the oil filter mount.

thanks guys.

charlie, i think you're right. it was rendered obsolete when i ran 2awg to the same location as part of my big3 upgrade.
