NOOOOOO 8k is like purple or some **** .. Not cool.

i wish i would have read this about an hour ago..... before i ordered them..:violin: i would not have had a problem with the 6000k but i didnt think they would be the color i want!!! I like the blue look personally but i dont want them to be purple!!!!!! Have you bout the 8000k through DDM?

8k from a lot of manufacturers are still pretty blue. I personally like the 4300 although when I had a bulb burn out I had to switch to 5000 due to local availability.

I think it depends on a lot of factors. The kits I sold through my shop 8 years ago were pretty blue at 8k. These were AC HID kits from Alpha that are actually marked Japan for country of origin. They sold new back then for around $350. I have no idea what you actually ordered, or experience with it. To know for sure, I would call and see if you can change it to 6K if you are unsure. That's why its good to buy local, you can see things before you hand over the cash.

yeah just the only problem is the local shops want $350 for them and i got it under $70 online! but i will call tomorrow and see if i can get someone to tell me the color and if they cant ill go with 6k
