Beach Run

Looking to go down to Nags Head soon to go out on the beach now that it is out of season and don't need a permit. Anyone interested?

I think you still need a permit but corolla is you dont which is nice to drive. Im always down that way id be up to go sometime

I had a great time out there, almost had the place to myself. The 5100s and stock springs performed decently, but I was only running 35-40. The rear seemed to have the most trouble, I'm already thinking about picking up some icon rear shocks from metal tech. Their black Friday sale is going to ruin me!

yea I am wanting to go down again. I am thinking the first Saturday in March.

it depends where you go. if you go to corolla you can drive alot, the beach is wide plus you can drive through the housing parts which is all back sand roads its nice. it also has wild horses. thats where i usually go and have a good time at the beach too. let me know next time you go my gf lives down that way so im not far at all.

Thanks, will do. That pic is from corolla. We probably drive like 4 miles up the road or so, but GF got bored and we had to drive back to Philly.

This doesn't look like you aired down. Very bad beach etiquette. It leaves a corrugated road effect for the next driver. It's especially bad in the back roads around the houses.

You can drive 20 miles up the beach to the VA border. There's a fence at the border and you have to turn around. The VA side is False Cape State Park.
I wish I had pictures from 25 years ago when cattle and buffalo used to graze where all the houses are.
