Rear Door Glass Run Replacement tips?

Looks like the previous owner of my truck tied something to the roof at one point and ran the tie downs through the side windows. I picked up the "rear door glass run" trim piece to swap it out but I've not done on before.

Anyone have experience with this or know how it is attached?

It's the rubber trim piece that the window glass slides into and seals around when rolled closed.
