Beast has a burning smell?

Today driving home in rain noticed a metal burning smell without smoke.........opened the windows thought it was the truck in front of me. parked in the garage and slight smell still remained. couple weeks ago we had the "stone" in the brake. Related?

They are repaving the Glenn Hiway just finished last week....!

Started it up and ran it for about 10 minutes smell is all but gone engine open no smell.

That's why I get paid the big bucks:lol: You know the only reason I thought of it is when I was a kid they'd oil our road every summer. Our car smelled like it had something between hot brakes and an oil leak for a few weeks after...
