Is it just me or do most newer 4Runner owners take really good care of their vehicles? I hardly ever see a junky 3rd Gen and up 4Runner.

I think they are just built extremely well. My best friend has a 97 Limited and he treats it like crap and never washes it. All it needs is a good detailing and it would look like new.

Oh,I've seen a few 3rd gens that were a bit trashed and these were not off road vehicels at all. I've seen Limiteds missing flare pieces and plenty of dinged up front bumpers.

WOW, $19,103.33 for that 4Runner. My question is, is it worth it? To someone it obviously is, but where do you draw the line and go for a new car? There are new 4Runners in paper today for only some $5k more. Different options I know, but brand new...

I was in Hawaii less than a year after the fourth gen came out. I was talking to a Toyota salesman and he said more people came wanting the 3rd gen.

i'm sure that was his sales in pitch, trying to get rid of all their old stuff.

That is some serious coinage for a 3rd gen - but it's one of the best looking stock 3rd gens I've ever seen

Darn....

My 2001 Thunderclud looks as good as that but has 66K with leather and the chrome bumpers. First with 20K gets it :))
