Beauty rings/beadlock look alikes on wheels

Was toying with the idea of getting a set of Methods and bolting up a new beadlock ring from OMF or something of that type, but am having a hard time finding info about this and if its actually possible. I have no need for real beadlocks, I just really like the look of them. I know its possible to buy rings and tack weld them to the wheel, but I would rather not do it this way. If possible I would love to just use the bolts that the methods already come with and bolt up a new ring on top of it. Does anybody have any info about this or know of a thread that has already been started about this? Pics would be great! Thanks!

I notice that OMF has a thing called a "sim-u-lock" which looks to be exactly what im looking for. Im assuming these bolt up to the original bolts?

Oh look at that, I looked long enough and now I get to answer my own question. Apparently OMF does make a bolt on "beauty ring" but they are not cheap!
Id still love some pics if anybody sees them around or a similar product.

lol I was just reading the first post and was thinking: If you want fake beadlocks from OMF, you might as well buy real ones because even the fake ones are not going to be cheap!

There are plenty of tacky wheels out there with the "beadlock" look. The internet is flooded with them.

"tacky" is exactly the problem. Almost all the fake bead lock wheels look like crap. Real bead locks look great, but at $600 a wheel for something ill use maybe once or twice in the snow is stupid. Plus I drive about 90% on concrete at high speeds, (so cal) and just don't see the need for a real Bead lock. Every wheel I like seems to be a Bead lock. Just trying to find some alternatives that look good.
Im not concerned with sporting a "fake" bead lock. Im comfortable with the "size of my rig" haha

SCS has or is coming out with a street lock wheel that's pretty nice. Check them out. I know there's a thread in general discussions somewhere.

These have a faux beadlock/beauty rim. And you can paint them any color you would like. I actually saw an XTerra with the ring painted yellow....

What's wrong with true bead locks? I love mine. I've hit some big rocks at( higher than I should be going speeds) well worth the money spent.

I dont think theres anything "wrong" with beadlocks. The real question is, are my driving habits suited for beadlocks? Im just hesitant to get a real bead lock wheel for a couple of reasons. Maybe you can help with my concerns.

-First off, there pricey.
-I will probably never be in a situation when I actually need to air down enough to use them.
-Im really not sure about how soild they are for everyday use. Maybe its just a myth like all the concerns about wheel spacers, but Ive read you shouldn't be cornering at high speeds, driving above 40mph regularly, that kind of junk.
-I work at a shop and mount my own wheels and tires. Ive never messed with beadlocks. They look easy but im not sure what im getting myself into, maintenance etc. Ive built 3 piece wheels for my BMW and know the maintenance involved with those.
-I hear they don't balance well and vibrations are common

My cars a daily, and I don't want to add too many things that involve a lot of extra maintenance.

First off I agree they are very pricey. When you make an investment you want a good return and these wheels are a VERY good investment. How much is a bent rim going to cost you to straighten or replace even? I've 4wheeled hard and hit rocks at high speeds on accident. They have saved my tires and they absorb shock that might otherwise damage a tie rod among other things. As for the ride quality. Officiate it's going to affect that a little and has butnot enough to hurt anything in my experience. I have justnow started to notice a little wiggle in the steering at 5000 miles and rotating next week. I have had no wiggle up until that point. Only thing is curves have to be taken at a lower speed but that's it. Love my setup. Easy to install. One piece steel wheel with a beauty ring and Allen screws. Wheel is already peddled for the Allen screws. Very easy. Just alot of Allen screws. Haha
