Looking for help to ID center caps for wheels

Looking for help to identify which center cap for my wheels. The previous owner bought the rims two years ago at Town Fair Tire. I have the receipt, it says:
17x8, TRD 4 RUNNER-REMAN, IBM# 02253, PKG 168

The tire sizes on the rims are 265/65R17T, TOYO Open Country H/T II

I happened to be at a Town Fair Tire recently. I brought in the receipt with the above info. They were no help. The Tech (who may have made this up) said the wheels are Toyota OEM that have been repainted. He could not tell which center cap would fit.

I also went to a local Toyota dealership. They were also if no help.
So, here I am, looking for suggestions. There seem to be two distinct style of center caps. The larger ones, like (Toyota TRD Center Cap. Wheels. - Toyota Part No.: PTR20-35111-BK), and smaller ones, like (Flat Black TRD Center Cap).

Any help is appreciated.
My vehicle is a 2008 SR5 V6 4WD.

i ran into kinda the same issue with my 4runner wheels. town fair wasn’t much help for me either lol. from what i remember, if ur wheels are the reman oem toyota ones, the smaller flat black trd caps usually fit better. the bigger ones (ptr20-35111-bk) are more for the trd pro style wheels. best bet is measure the hole size on ur rim and match it up before ordering, saved me a headache.

I ordered 4 PT998-34221-2F (which supercede PT280-34221-F2), and they are just too big. Looking for a smaller version. Not an easy quest.

Based on the receipt, those rims might be TRD OEM style (IBM# 02253 / PKG 168) even if repainted.

The PTR20-35111-BK cap is a known TRD center cap option.

The “smaller flat black TRD” you mention may be an alternate style, more subtle, used on non-Pro TRD wheels.

Best move: measure the diameter (in mm/inches) of the cap recess in your wheel, then match that with PTR20-35111 or the flat black ones before ordering.
