Bedlining Roof. Durability?

Monstaliner is 100% uv permenant. Out here in 29 palms pretty much everything else gets chalky in a year or less. Herculiner, line-x, and rhinoliner. My truck hasnt faded or chalked and its parked outside in the weather year round.

Plus you can tint monstaliner any color you want. I used Toyota anthracite 1a1 with no binders since that was my stock color. No door jamb. It was pretty close to bang on for shade.

So how long have you had that on your truck? I've not seen one hold up well, but I have not used that particular brand.

For the record, 29 Palms is only 90 miles from me here in BEAUTIFUL southern California.

I did it last april so a wee bit over a year. The important part is curing with sprinkling water. It's a polyurethane base paint if I remember correctly so every hour or so for 3 to 4 days I was out spraying it down lightly so it could intake water.

I love this monstaliner stuff though. It's really a great product. They outta sponsor me lol.

About to pull the trigger on the black, but had a question. Think 1 gallon will be enough for my entire roof, Rola roof basket (and stock roof rack) , and sliders? I'm going to roll it on.

1 gallon will leave you with some left over. You could do it with 2 quarts easily.

If you paint your sliders I would only paint the top as kind of a step. Monstaliner acts much more like a plastic than a paint after it cures imo. For the sliders and other constant contact items I started using hammered paint from rustoleum. Great stuff. Easy to spray and it has a tough finish. Much easier to touch up than monstaliner.
