2003 4Runner

Much of it is stock for now - everything is - but, possible mods is a hood protector, an exhaust system, and Revo tires. I got it in July 2003.

Since then it's 15,000 miles already and no problems so far. The whitewall lettering has kind of faded out but that's been it so far.

I saw the pictures and your truck is really nice. The black looks great with the hood scoop. Our trucks are the same except you got the JBL and mine is silver!

Yo BigEd, what AACF are you a part of? I graduated UCSD June '02. I was a part of AACF back in the hey-day but no more. Nice ride. I got my 4R from Longo also. I ordered it through www.carsdirect.com because i could not find a silver 4x4 sport. but lo and behold Longo had it. i got a pretty good deal too. My 4R looks pretty much exactly like yours but silver. you sure yuor 4R is a 2003? i got a 2004 and it looks exactly the same. peace.

:iagree: I took a closer look at the pictures and it does not have the silver door handles or the silver piece above the license plate frame. It also does not look like it has the cladding. All of the 2003 sports have those things. Yours definitely has to be a 2004. Another way to tell is if you have the tire pressure monitor. That was something new on the 2004's.

The 4Runner I got is a late model 2003. Only differences between the one I have and the 2004's is that I don't have a tire pressure monitoring system and a different shade of stone interior.

Yo EDDucks916 we're the same year! even though it took me a little more time to finish school hehe. I'm sure we have tons of mutual friends. Do you know some dood named Jon Wu? I grew up with him down in SD. he's our year too. Do you know Jim Yee also? He's two years younger. I live with his older brother in Fullerton now. That jimbo is quite the character. he's serving on their Core this year but he's gonna graduate. dang what a small world. oh yea nice 4R.
