Boulevard wheat, boulevard pilsner, rolling rock, bud light. I have a few random microbrews as well.

Gotta love Boulevard stuff, it's a hometown favorite.

Agreed, here is my nod of approval to Boulevard from our trip to KC in 08!

AND, I just so happened to look down as I posted this, and wouldn't you know it, I'm wearing my Boulevard Wheat shirt! So I've literally been there, done that and bought the t-shirt!

I hate to admit I'm turning into a beer snob. I'm a social drinker only, so if it doesn't taste incredible, I'm not interested.

I'm the same way. It's a problem. It's either got to be a huge barley wine or an incredibly hoppy IPA. I'm just not too impressed anymore. In Fort Collins beer's a bit of a big deal so I got spoiled in college.

Just ran out for the first time in a year earlier this week, so I had to pick up some Sierra Nevada Torpedo's. One of my favorite beers around. Usually though I have Sierra Nevada Pale Ale's, Miller High Life, Guiness and whatever anyone brings over. :thumb3:

Just reloaded...New Belgium Abbey, New Belgium Belgo, New Belgium Trippel, Lagunitas a Little Sumpin' Sumpin' ale (a new fave), Abita Restoration Pale Ale, Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre and Breckenridge Brewery Vanilla Porter.

I have become a beer snob too. The way I see it, if I am going to drink beer, it is going to be GOOD beer. I ride my bike so I can enjoy good beer.

Right now I have the end of a 12 pack of Stella in my fridge. But you'll usually find Corona, Boulevard Wheat, Schlafly Kolsch, Heineken and a couple other randoms.
However, if we're at the campground or on the river it's usually the Silver Bullet. Unfortunately, living in MO, I can't get my favorite, Yuengling Lager . If anyone on the East Coast wants to be a pal and ship like 10 cases of Yuengling to me, I'd be very grateful

I was just in STL not even two weeks ago. Too bad this thread wasn't started a few weeks sooner...

I'm not a big beer drinker, but I like Sam Adams and the different seasonal beers they have.

Really? People around here think I'm strange because I would rather drink water than $h!tty AB products like Bud Light.
I had Yuengling for the first time on vacation in Key West and really liked it :beer:. I know it isn't the "best" beer, but at least it tastes like beer and not beer flavored water, like Bud Light. I think part of the reason I like Yuengling so much is because it's like the forbidden fruit for me since I can't get in anywhere close to home.

Bud light does get pretty gross after awhile, but I'd rather have it than drink any miller product. :AK47:

Wasn't really commenting on the quality (trust me, I grew up in PA. Yuengling is a religion there.) more just saying it's very common. I haven't been to a bar around here that doesn't have Yuengling on tap.

Actually, I'm not really a Cardinals fan (or baseball in general for that matter). Though, I will admit that these most recent playoffs were pretty exciting as far as baseball goes. I do love the Blues though if that counts for anything.

When it comes to light beer, I like Coors or Miller but try not to drink either unless I am in an area that doesn't allow bottles. There have been some others that were listed that I forgot about, which make my Friday trip to the liquor store all the more confusing. Dos Equis, Sierra Nevada, Blue Moon (did you know they sell it in cans now) Molson Canadian, etc. I do love some Schlafly Hefeweizen too!

nice!!!! i am a HUGE beer nut and avid ber trader. i spend over $10k a year on beer trading usually, trying to get it a bit more under control here, lol! ive got a ton of stuff in my house, my fridge, my storage unit, etc. about 30 cases or worth of beer in my cellar at any time. I am very lucky and have established trading relationships with several brewers, most notably Mikkel of Mikkeller. :zoom:

some of my most recent highlights have been CBS, Pappy 23 dark Lord, Buddha Nuvo, Whiskey Hunahpu's, and many more. I recently attened a private dinner with Shaun Hill, of Hill Farmstead in Vermont, and really enjoyed his citrus stout collaboration with Mikkeller, Daybreak. Also he brought his unreleased bourbon barrel imperial porter, Birth of tragedy. And many others of course, but those were my favorites since i hadn't tried them yet.

that reminds me, i gotta stick some stuff in the fridge! ill post soon on tonights lineup


also, anyone else here want to trade??? anyone in the bay area wanna come and have a tasting??? ive got soooo much stuff, so im always looking for occasions to crack special beers from the cellar. :hatsoff:
