I did everything except the seat reupholstery. The seats are done in a sport seat type heavy duty tweed (sp?) and the carpets are just regular black low pile plus rammat sound deadner and carpet padding. Finding those seat bolt holes is a B***H!

Very cool. So how does the carpet go in? Does it just lay on the floor or did you use some sort of double sided tape? And how is the rammat working out? I need to do my two front door panels this spring and I'm looking for options other than dynamat.

The black looks really good in there.

I got the carpet from autointeriors.com it comes premolded (sorta) for about $240 bucks. You just need to lay it and let it settle and just work on one part at a time. Just the carpet took me about 14 hours total. The carpet sticks to the rammat pretty good and then gets held down via the trim parts. I can already tell a difference in just how the car sounds with the rammat. I cant wait to hear the new sound system in there!

I found a guy on craigslist that works out of his garage so it cost me $140 for material and $300 for installation. Cheaper then custom seat covers. and they are "re-stuffed" so they feel like new!

i wanna bring this thread back to life for a sec (instead of making a new one) , I love the work done there, that looks great man! Tweed is a sweet material too. My question is, did you ever replace the fabric on the doors? Im wanting to do this to my doors soon, i have some minor skills in reupholstery from back in the day but only with seats. Im thinking the doors cant be too hard? any ideas?

sorry if it seems like im jacking your thread i really just didn't want to start a new one quite yet. im just in the research mode
