belt squeal

i've got a squeal to a belt when started cold in the morning... but only when its been parked overnight and is under 40 degrees here in chilly montana. everything seems tight when checked... any ideas? it's starting to irritate the hell outta me

What year, miles, engine?? Mine started to do that about three weeks before the harmonic balancer broke. Mine is a 99 Sr5, 3.4 4x4 with 209,000 miles on it.

If the squeal is your belt try a light grit sand paper on the bottom side of the belt while running otherwise its probably not your belt.

2000 limited with 120K... timing, water pump and all other belts replaced 6 months ago. only squeals when its cold out.... seems strange
