Bent radflo 2.5 coilover

Anybody ever heard of this or had it happen? I hit a curb and bent it, really thought they would be alot stronger Than that. Anyone delt with radflo rebuilding coilovers?

How fast did you hit it? Head on? Curb strikes can be pretty unforgiving when it comes to suspension. I'd check the tie rods and other components. If you bent a coilovers chances are that's not the only thing bent!

Haven't dealt with them for a rebuild but I'd call and see what they say.

As for the radflos bending...if put under enough stress/impact, any metal will bend. That being said...i haven't heard of someone bending them before.

Bent what, exactly, and where, pics? Unless you completely destroyed your entire front end, there is not really any way to bend the coil over, they are not subject to any lateral load, unlike a strut. LCA, spindle, UCA, sure, but coil over would be unlikely.

I agree lets see pictures, if so HAD to do more damage to rest of suspension.:worthless

Guessing its the rod end at the bottom, or the shock shaft ?

I think the rod end is replaceable, fairly easily. A bent shock shaft will require a significant rebuild, internals will be damaged too.

I've hit curbs and rocks pretty damn hard and haven't bent my 2.5" Radflo set-up... Did you slide sideways at 35mph into a 1ft curb right on the wheel? They've been pretty tough off-roading, so a curb taking it down seems pretty weird; if you had said it happened off-roading I'd be more inclined to believe it.
