Bent rear lower control arm

Took my 4runner over some rocks and my pass. rear lower control must have landed on a rock and bent it. Looks pretty simple to replace, but any tips? Can I just unbolt the old and install the new?

Also, the dealership is charging $208 for a new one. Are there any inexpensive aftermarket control arms?

Thanks! The discount code that's in the Toytec vendor forum isn't working (112710). Do you happen to know a working code? Also, do you know if these control arms come in pairs?

I got a used one from a wrecking yard for $50. Metaltech and a few others make upgraded bars. If I recall correctly they are $250+.

not sure if you have sliders or not but if you do get a ratchet strap and wrap it from the axle to the slider or if not just to the frame so that when it come out you'll have more control over the axle if it needs to be adjusted to fit the new one and if you continue to climb rocks and what not its worth it to up grade to the metal tech or all pro i think, just because I've seen them take a beating and be fine rather than the wimpy stockers.

Dayum, I bent mine on some serious trails before, but, nothing like that.

If you can get another stock set from a wrecking yard and can weld, you could do something like this.

Can the rears of these 4runners be aligned? I didn't see any cam bolts or anything for aligning. I'm going to get it re-aligned after I change the arm just in case it's now way off.

Your alignment is going to feel and is out due to the bent arm you have, you just changed the directional of the rear axle.

If you go with the metal tech, toytec, ect. That have the adjustable nuts on them, you can align the reader also as long as they are a good 4x4 alignment shop.

If you just get a stock replacement, you should be alright, but doesn't hurt to have it redone for piece of mine.
