Realisticaly I wanted an Acura NSX, but a friend bought one and I`d hate to be a follower. Next would have to be an FJ40...but hard to find one in decent shape. I just love open air vehicles that can go anywhere.

He was my other ride... Sold it last year.

I have a 1999 Runner Limited and my girlfriend has a 2002 Acura TL Type S. My lease is up this June and I am looking at a 2003 Runner Limited.
The car provides the high speed/nice weather highway fun and the Runner provides off road/bad weather fun. I love the combination but really can't wait to get a new Runner if I can make a deal.

I would wait until all the bugs are out of this POS before you buy one.

Just my opinion. Mine sucks!!!

Do it!!! I have an '03 Sport and it is the absolute best truck I have owned and the best truck in its' price range by far.

Hey sadman your griping about your truck is fine but don't NOT recommend a 4Runner on a 4Runner site. Move on and buy another truck. Your issues are not what the vast majority of 4Runner owners are experiencing. Most have none or fixed issues and love their trucks.

Sad you don't know what bugs are. Go to a Chevy,Ford, Dodge, Nissan etc. site and there are 100's of guys like you complaining about the problems they are having. When you go to a Toyota site there are only a couple. I think it is good that you voice your concerns and you need to be specific every time you do. But the fact that you are in the minority only confirms the fact that Toyota makes one of the finest vehicles in the world. JMHO
