Best Bang for the buck suspension

So i have a 05 4wd, its been sitting on a Ole man emu 3" kit pretty much its whole life. The shocks finally started to ware out and I installed Bilstene 5100s in with the ome coils. Even on the lowest setting, the front still sits almost a inch higher than the rear. My biggest complaint now is i only have about 2 1/2 inches of down travel up front. What are the upgrades past the 5100's? I will be getting a Relentless Fab bumper around April so it will need to support some extra pounds up front.

100 views and no replies! I would consider the Icon extended travel front COs, or something similar. If you are like me and OCD, the COs will allow you to get the ride even, and help adjust for drivers side lean. My advice, if you go this route, is to order the COs with a heavier spring. Icons come with a 650# spring but you can get them with a 700# spring for same price. That way you won't be cranking the CO down much to get the lift you want, unlike with the softer springs, and it will ride much better.

A lot of people are in love with the 6112s right now. I don't know the specs, but it's hard to imagine you would gain much, if any, down travel.

I'll second that with a coilover set up in the front.. If you can find a good deal take it and run with it..

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I've heard all aftermarket front coilovers (Bilstein, OME, Icon, Radflo etc) all have the same travel numbers, excluding the extended travel adjustables from Icon, Radflo... etc.

The only way to get more than 2.5" downtravel, in your case, would be to adjust the preload so your vehicle sits lower. If anyone knows more about this, please comment because I could be wrong.
