best bull bar and tail light guards

Dont worry guys, I tried searching forums, now taking this approach.

Ive got the 99 Limited with the fat lip bumper. Looking for maybe a bull bar that I want lights to be added to, Im a college student so not looking for too expensive, I know its all for look and the damage multiplier thoughts but im going for looks

Also whats the best tail light guards, ive seen them on ebay but I dont know if there any good.

in all honesty man, a lot of people here dont have them, or they get them and end up ditching them. However some people do have them and they look pretty good. If your on a budget, get the ebay one. I've seen one in particular that i like that was some ebay brand, not sure what the name is. but someone will chime in

tail light guards are mainly for looks. i do have them, did wreck the truck on one and held up and pushed the light into the body. if you find one im sure it will be good. but on the front better is key.

are you just looking for a light bar or for more protection but add lights on it?

I just sold this last weekend .. i had it on for maybe 2 months then ditched it.. got it used but yes ebay has a decent looking one for 150 i think

what you asked for are to different things you can either have the best or you can have cheap. or find one used on CL i sold mine used after an accident for $150

the best one is wagg here's some pics on my '99

as for the rear light covers they are all the same basically.

Or if you are just looking for a bull bar, and not a full on brush guard, look for Hunter brand. They are pretty cheap, like $150 or so. And I believe they come with light mounts too.

Mine have light mounts. I just havent bought a set of auxillary lights yet. Theyre just over 100 right now on truckgeardirect. But you should get GottaBeTRD bar. I think it would look better on a fatlip bumper than mine would. the 99 bumper basically already has a built in bull bar

^^ yeah i know right? haha but i like taylors bull bar, actually looks like it might do something, i like the supports up under it. i like my full one but i would put that one on too.

It's been a while since i've had this bar on, but it was made by westin and meant for a tacoma. It's a little more then the ebay one, but with $10 in parts from home depot it fit perfectly and I thought it looked a whole lot better.

I bought an eBay bull bar for my truck. Cost me around 120 shipped. Looked good on the truck and I was able to mount up a set of driving lights. But first time driving at night I knew it was cheap. Looked like I had strobes. The bull bar was not sturdy. Finally came across a brush guard on a ford explorer at a pull apart, bought it and made it fit my truck.
