Best cheap Roof Rack for 4th gen?

I'm looking for a good solid roof rack, preferably safari style. I'm only 16 so I'm running a pretty tight budget. My local Walmart has one for $99 but if I can get a better one for little more than it's worth it. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Rola for sure. I think amazon had them for like $119 at one time. You can always go back and buy the extension later to make it full size.

I think Yakima makes mounts for spare tires that would probably work on the rola( don't quote me) . Keep in mind though that you will have more body roll from that weight on the roof and it may be a PITA to get it off if you need the space on the rack or need to use your spare. No way I'd put my full size spare almost 7ft in the air, but to each their own.

Agreed. While it looks "cool" it's not the best idea. Unless you have stiffer suspension then it will alter the overall dynamics of how your vehicle drives, will increase body roll (which can be the difference from ok and not ok very quickly off road) and it ruins your aerodynamics (what little 4runners do have).

I know Curt also has roof racks that are not too expensive.
