Anyone know what the best / Cheapest OBDII PC software is? I want to get the Toyota Specific Software to be able to diagnose ABS / TRAC / VSC systems on my 02' 4Runner

What hardware are you using to connect your PC to the OBDII? AFAIK, the different systems to do that use different software. I use a BR-3, and only their software works, and it only does engine stuff. If I'm wrong, I'd love to find out.

I am experiencing no problems at all. Just when the time comes I want to be able to diagnose and clear codes, hopefully perform zero point calibrations on the VSC / TRAC systems and diagnose the ABS system.

You can buy a cable for about $15 off ebay. You can then go to obd-2.com and download free software (you can select the make and year with a pull down menu), but I question if there is another software program that I can use that people have experience with. I just hate taking it to someone if I can diagnose and see the codes myself because I have the FSM.

It's a shame nothing became of this thread. I have a bluetooth scanner and "Torque" on my phone.

I'd love to be able to read Toyota specific codes on my 03
