Best gas mieage

I get between 13-15mpg here in the winter. I do ALL short trip city driving.

my 97 is an auto with 130k. Plugs, wires, FF, TB cleaned, seafoamed, etc. all within the last 5,000 miles.
 
Haven't been able reach my 350 goal. Hopefully with some new tires and alignment I could get closer.

ya, we've been telling him the same thing for a while now. He just doesn't get it. No worries though, he's not hurting anyone in his little bubble.

Dude you should check out the site howthingswork.com look up differentials, then transmissions. Changing the gear oil doesn't change your RPMs.

I'm wondering if maybe he's just referring to the fact that you might have to use less gas if the differential was well-lubricated...less resistance. Just a guess...
 
my last reading before adding the winch, mostly highway driving was 19.4 mpg. not bad considering lift and that was with 2 adults 2 kids inside with some luggage.

If i can keep it about 15mpg after new tires and bumpers and sliders I will be happy.

this is with some stock wires and stock fuel filter as well.
