So my silver grill looks awful, I am looking to paint it (Not plastidip). What are you guys recommending for matte or semi matte paint for exterior plastic? Or should I go with the textured (ie hammered) finish? The search yeilds mostly plastidip grills which I don't want. Open to suggestions?

On my last vehicle I had good luck with duplicolor bed armor, they also make a grill paint that is textured. Remember when picking paint for this that soft is better because it wont chip when struck with rocks.

When I color matched mine I went over the surface with sandpaper (500-1000 I think) and put down some textured primer and went over that with Duplicolor Perfect Match Natural White. I put down probably 6-7 coats and wetsanded in between and did a lot of polishing on the final coat and it came out really good. I've had it for probably 8 months now and its still looking new. there are a couple tiny knicks from road debris but I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
