Best Lift Kit

Hey guys, I'm waiting on a 2011 4Runner Trail Edition. I'd like to lift it. I've checked out Toytec's website and noticed that they have 3 options for full lift kits. I don't know much about the products and I'm just wondering which kit is the most extensive. Basically I want the best quality and most effective kit for off/on-roading I can get, thanks guys, hope to hear from you soon.

The best in my opinion is the Icon stage 5 set-up. 2010 + 4Runner Suspension System - Stage 5 - ICON Vehicle Dynamics
You can get separate pieces and build it over time or mix and match like I did too.

Call Demello Offroad and ask for Jason for the best prices.Toytec sells Icon too but would'nt match Demello's price for me. Demello Offroad

Overland Warehouse also looks like they have come out with a great set-up!

Since Harper7 got the Icon, I will go with the Overland Warehouse/Radflo.

They have a 2.0 and 2.5 kit and will be able to custom valve the shocks to your needs.

i went with the radflo 2.5 @ $1700 + LightRacing UCA @ $279 + All Custom Rear Links With Heims (upper,lower and panhard) not just the lowers @ $750 so a total of $2729 - granted i didnt get piggy backs but no need, ive never overheated my shocks anyway and thats after doing more than 55mph in desert terrain and all the shocks were valved specifically for my rig :thumb3:

i may eventually go long travel and if i do ill probably stick with radflos and get some bypasses...

the stage 6 adds the panhard and upper control arms



save alot of cash and have someone make all the links with heims like mine...

I think the recommendations are based on actual experience. Not too many people on this forum run King's here except Josh220, Roam001, BajaRnnr and a few others. You'd find more first hand knowledge and experience with King over at 120.

However, you will find more people running ICON's, OW Radflo's, Toytec, OME, etc here and can provide actual feedback to the OP.

yeah I've noticed that not a lot of people run them on here. I'm sure as time goes on some more people will get them.

Magaca, are you getting Kings that were specifically made for the 5th gen or you just getting the kit that's made for the FJ Cruisers? When I was doing research for my lift, King didn't have anything out yet and said it would be a while.

I vote for Overland warehouse! I got their first kit for the 5th gen's and couldn't be any happier. OW can hook you up with a custom kit to meet your driving conditions. I don't tow anything with mine, but wanted to be able to hold the weight for Bud Built skids and Front bumper and etc. that I'll get some day down the road.

well i did a combination i initially was going for icon stage 5 but had to wait about 3 weeks, the guy that's helping me used to work for off road warehouse and suggested this set up he said king shock's were as good if not better also that they are easier and faster to get re-calibrated (hope this term is correct) if later on wanted to put a little more weight, the shocks are the ones used for the FJ thats why im going with the rear coil spring from icon and UCAS from TC, he assures me that im going to love this set up i really hope so because its not cheap

Where did you get your radflo from?? I'm trying to find a lift for my TE but all I can find is icon and that's expensive.. your price is more doable :iagree:

Try Toytec.com. I saw radflo and toytec suspension kits on their website. I purchased the Icon stage 2 for my TE because of the discount I got from socalsupertrucks.com.

For Radflo you can go through Metal Tech which is a sponsor or contact Radflo directly and they can steer you in the right direction. They can also do the Overland Warehouse specs if you ask for it.
