Do you have a V6 or V8? Are you looking for a new suspension, or just two inches of lift? And lastly, how much dough are you looking to bake?
I have 140,000 miles on my 4Runner, and my suspension is getting quite old. I think stock 4Runners have an ever-so-slightly station wagon look to them. So I decided that if I'm replacing my suspension, I might as well get a suspension that adds lift.
Like you, I wanted just two inches. I off-road recreationally, but I don't boulder in my truck, or drive highspeed in the desert. I just wanted a stock-like ride, albeit more stiff and capable. I settled on Old Man Emu. Everything I read about OME summed up what I wanted. However, there are plenty of options, and there are better ($$) suspensions than OME if you really push it on trails.
