Best light options on ditch brackets

Right now I am running Auxbeam floods on the cbi ditch brackets. They are OK. I don't think they are ideal for a ditch bracket mounting. Since they are mounted up so high, I'm looking for a light with a better output. My first thinking is to go with a spot style light. I know Rigid lights are the best, but what other lights have good output?

My brother has a pair of Baja Designs Squadron Pro Wide Cornering for the ditch lights on his FJ. Can't really ask for anything better. You don't really want spots in that location, at least not good spots. Leave those for pointing straight ahead where you are traveling. His wide cornering gives enough depth to see anything important in the ditches. That's what I would buy if I wanted ditch lights.

Thanks! Hadn't heard of those, but will look into them.

I have the KC Hilites C series mounted on my GOBI rack. 2 spots and 2 floods. Floods were a bad idea up high. Lots of reflection off the hood but might do better at ditch height. If I had the first clue how to post pictures on here I would. But the KCs run you about 130 bucks with wiring kit included.

Caliraised

I have the CBI ditch light brackets and just put on a pair of Caliraised side-shooter flood pods. They have great flood pattern and have a lot of adjustment so you can position the light where you want it to end up. I think they are a solid light and good in between step between cheap led's and Rigid or Baja designs.

I have tried the cheap led's and they were just that. I also looked into the baja design and rigid but for me and the amount of use they see I'm really happy with the Caliraised.

I hadn't heard of the side-shooter style pods before. Those seem ideal for ditch lights. Do you have any pics?
