Best Looking Black Wheels, 2010 4Runner

Hello, I'm new to the forum and I'm on my first 4Runner (2010 SR5 V6 4WD, Charcoal). The only thing I have done is put in a beefier set of tires, and now I'm looking for a great pair of wheels. I'm looking for black, but not flashing, something that looks tough and rugged? Any suggestions out there? The wheels are my number 1 priority, but if you're anxious to write more, I'm also interested in any 1-2" lift kits people recommend. Again, nothing flashy, but something that just steps up the look and performance a little. Thank you.

Check out the Post your LIFTED pix here! sticky. Many members post their mods in their signature. I've PM'd a couple of guys to ask some specific questions on their lifts and everyone has been more than helpful.

The Bilstein 5100 shocks you will find out are adjustable in the front at 0.85", 1.75" and 2.5" I believe. Do all 4 and add a rear spring for the height you want back there. Check out Home - Toytec Lifts: Toyota Lift Kits: FJ Cruiser Lift Kits, Tacoma Lift Kits, Tundra Lift Kits, 4 Runner Lift Kits, Sequoia Lift Kits, Toyota Truck Lift Kits for some good products. Great service! You can also go more simple with a 2.5/1.5 spacer lift.

I agree with the above here's mine, SCS Stealth 6. They look great but the company has excellent comms and customer service, also I ordered late night Saturday and had them by Wednesday so quick shipping.

very subjective question. I like SCS on countersteers.... every wheel in post 2 reminds me of a redneck chevy.... so again beauty is in the eye of the beholder

My main factors for choosing aftermarket wheels were weight,ease of cleaning ,aggressive offset,quality and customer service with weight being the main factor to help offset the heavy offroad tires.The Konig Countersteer X's fit the bill for me being the lightest 17 inch wheels at only 20lb 2oz. a wheel, super easy to clean with quality paint ,noticeably better quality then the Chinese made AR Mojave's I had before these,4.1" backspacing gives a wider more aggressive stance and hard to beat FN Wheels customer service.Just give Dustin a call..... I finally just ordered a 5th Konig X wheel to use as my spare yesterday and received a Fedex tracking number that night and it's in transit. I also ordered a skinny pizza cutter 255/80/17 BFG KM2 tire to use as my spare tire and hoping the 33.3" Diameter tire is going to fit up under the back. Did some measurements last night and it's definitely going to be tight but will make it work.

You'll be good, my 33.1 fits with a little wiggle room.

I will second the Konigs and SCS wheels. Both are nice pick for wheels. Yes the Konigs are light as Harper7 said which helps the truck, but those SCS wheels in bronze will look so nice on my truck some day.

The first set are my "winter" rims and snow tires... apologies for the cell phone photos...

Second set are some plastidipped FJ rims that I put on for the Summer...I think they turned out really well for $5 bucks a rattle can x's 3.5 cans. Frankly this way you can make any rim you love a black rim...
