Best mod yet for 3.0!

Adjusting the throttle cable on my 92 4runner has been the best thing I ever did! Much more power than before! I adjusted the transmission cable as well and the shift points are better also. A little maintenance to get the most out of an anemic motor, really helps. I noticed when I blipped the throttle pedal by hand when I was standing outside the struck, it had a ton of slop before the engine responded... never noticed with my foot. Checked the cable and it was way loose, stretched out over the years.

The best mod for the 3VZE is the 3.0 delete kit. Lots of happy wheelers swear by it. Commonly coupled with the "3.4 add-on package"

I should of said " the best Free mod" . I would really prefer a 3.4 swap, but can't afford it at this time... So free and cheap have to do for now!
