Best motor swap for a 96?

I have a 1996 5 speed 4runner that I really like but it has about 220K miles on it. It runs great but I'm thinking some day the motor will die. What is the best motor to put back in it? Should I stay with a low milage 3.4 or is there a better option? I don't want to do any modifying, just a straight swap. So what should I be looking for?

i think on these the body of the vehicle will fall apart before the engine does. the one my brother drives is a 96 sr5 with 270K. still going good. because you prob dont want to put in a 3K engine into a older vehicle like that it would be best to go back with exactly like you said, a low millage 3.4. do you have any idea what a used 3.4 cost? im jw. and ideas anyone?....
