So I bought some Tacoma wheels that I later found have 30mm offset, versus the (I believe) 15mm backspacing of the stock 5 spoke 4runner SR5 wheel.
My questions is, should I keep these wheels and get wheel spacers, run them as is (perhaps using a smaller/skinnier tire), or sell them and get different wheels with less offset.
I am hesitant to sell them because I am not sure how much I will get for them.
My plan is to have 1 set off off-road/winter wheels/tires, and a highway set, so if the skinnier tires are the highway ones, maybe that won't make much difference, and eliminate any ribbing issues? I want to get many many miles out of this 4runner, so if the spacers stress the hubs worse, then I may not want to go that route.
