Best options for multiple switch panel

I've seen some really cool switch panel setups while browsing build threads, but unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough to bookmark them. It seemed a couple of folks had custom builds available and I am unable to locate them via the search engine.

What I'm wanting, in particular, is a switch panel that will hold at least 4 switches, and preferably 6-8. I have a 99 SR5 and the spaces I have available include the overhead garage door opener console, the bottom cubby under the radio, left pillar, etc.

Also, while we are on the subject, any recommendations for a fuse block with at least 6-8 circuits?

This thread talks about wiring in to the dimmer but also links to switch holders from OTRATTW.

It uses the lower area to the left of the steering wheel. I beleive some cutting would be required to get the 3-wide switch holder in this spot but it looks like a clean solution

How Can i Wire the dash dim switch to AUX lights?

I've honestly never worked with relays. On my golf cart I just have a step down converter to change the 48v to 12v, which then feeds a simple 6-circuit fuse box HERE. From there I run the one line to the accessory (dome light, hazard lights, etc) and then a pair of lines to a 3 gang switch I got on amazon. From each switch I run the red wire to the accessory and it seems to work and nothing blows up, catches fire (yet). I've been reading up on the relays, however, and it seems like a better setup for high powered stuff like light bars, so I guess I'd need a relay box, but I'd love to find one that is plug-n-play, ie, that already has the relays in it and you just need to run the red wire to your accessory. Something like seabass showed below, except I want to run my own custom switch panel. It seems like maybe I could buy something like that and just cut the included panel off and wire it to my custom panel instead?

As for the switch plate, the best option so far seems like the paranoid fabrications plate. However, I have a full-faced (4 din?) after-market head unit now so I'd have to get a different head unit in order to use that setup. I'd still love to find that thread where someone converted their garage door opener section in the overhead into a switch holder.

The ultimate plan is to run a light bar, alley lights, hazard lights, fog lights, and a backup light, and probably eventually some grill lights.

I work for Joe's Racing Products and we make loads of various switch panels if you're looking for something different. They seem to sell well with R32 and R35 GTR owners, for some reason.
Edit: didn't see you were looking for 6-8 preferably. We only offer a max of 4 and loads of standalones, but it wouldn't be too hard to make your own for that many. Switches are dead easy to set up

I’ve got one of the 6 gang panels as well, works great. No complaints so far.

I like the simplicity of this setup, my only complaint is that I want physical rocker switches that I can throw like I'm piloting a Mars orbiter :vader:

I am curious if I bought one of those setups and simply cut the harness open. I imagine it is just the 6 red wires going back to the box right? which means I should be able to simply wire them to my own rockers?

I would think, maybe...probably...
I’m not an electronics guy, but yeah if each is powered in theory that would work. I like the simplicity of the buttons and the way it mounts easy and compact.

If you want rockers, I would pick up a blue sea circuit panel and go that route

I went ahead and ordered the single din plate for under the radio from paranoid fabrication, but I did find this thread in the 4th gen forum. He designed and printed a switch panel for the sunglass holder.
