What size should i get for a 2001 sr5 4x4?
and how did you like it.. does it sound like those Hondas we hear on the streets :( :nono: while reving to around 2000 rpm?

you will want the 20" with the center pipe on one side and offset on the other...the model number is 88103

it sounds real good just cruising the streets at about 1700 rpms...sounds NOTHING like a "ricer" sounds a lot more like the v8 Titan my neighbor has...i love it

Do any modifications need to be done to it? I'm going to buy it and take it to a muffler shop, don't want to spend much on this mod, will the holes fit the stock pipes?
Anything else you recommend or i should know, to tell the shop?
 
no it will fit fine...

it is actually a reversible fit, both sides are inlet/outlet

and yea, the pipes on your truck are 2.25" and the inlets/outlets on the muffler are 2.5" so they fit right on nicely, its a simple cut out the old one, and weld this one on...

Ok i received the muffler today but i just found out today that i can get stopped by the police for a loud muffler? (a cop friend told me)
I want to ask how loud it is?
I live in Chicago Suburbs and drive in the city and i pass through downtown now and then is it loud enough for a cop to notice?
Or if you are driving next to a cop or if he's behind you will he notice?
I usually don't go past 2500 rpm, how does it sound around there?

Its not CRAZY loud, it gives you a deep V8 kinda sound. Ive driven by many cops in LA area, and never had a problem. Its only real loud when u step on the gas, the rest of the time its just nice, deep, and rich.

You should be ok!
