Best repair manual?

What is the best repair manual for a '97 toyota 4runner? Is Chilton any good (Chilton Toyota Pick-Ups/Land Cruiser/ 4Runner 1997-00 Repair Manual)

I have the FSMs and a Chilton and I think the FSM is worth its weight in gold. My biggest complaint with the Chilton is the fact that they jam multiple models into 1 manual. The pictures provided in the Chilton are pretty poor quality and sometimes are of a different vehicle. At least the Chilton diagrams usually show all the models involved, but the diagrams and illustrations in the FSMs are right on. I've had Haynes manuals too and I think the Chilton is slightly better. If you want the most comprehensive, find the FSMs and shell out the money. If you want simplified without technical babble and SST requirements, go with a Chilton or Haynes.

Factory Service Manual, no contest. It's all you'll ever need. Don't waste your time on the others.

There is only 1 manual worth having for the FJ62 and that's the Factory Service Manual. They are not cheap toyota repair manual. About $75 from the dealer, but well worth it. Occasionally you can find one on eBay.
