Best time of year to sell a Honda Civic Si?

Hey all. I am interested in selling a 2000 Honda Civic Si coupe, and likely using the money to buy a 3rd gen 4Runner. I'm guessing, but I don't have direct experience, that buying a 4Runner in the Fall/Winter will require the highest prices. I would also suspect that those are the wrong times to sell an economy/sporty car. I live in Western WA, where we are not likely to have much snow for the rest of the Winter.

Am I over-thinking this and it really doesn't matter? Is now the ideal time to start advertising the Si for sale?

Its a little far away but the 2nd-3rd week of August. Parents are getting ready to send their kids off to school and want a nice Honda for them. I've done this a few times and its always turned out good.

Start after February. Everyone will be getting tax returns back and have some extra cash they will want to spend.

I probably won't wait until the August time of year, but it's a good idea.

I am also selling performance parts that I am taking off of it. I suspect there won't be much of a market for those items until the weather starts to get nicer.
