Best tire size for lifted 5th gen

What do you think is the best tire size for lifted 5th gen 4runner.

For myself I think 285/70R17 is the best do it all and look very nice too.

I guess that depends on how much lift your going with. I did a 2.5 in the front and 1.5 rear for level. Went with 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3 C load. I get lots of complements.

I've got 255/80R17s (33.1 x 10.0) the real skinny pizza cutters. I think 285/75 are next up though - they look GOOD!.

The MPG's are hard to beat from the 255/80s though - still getting 18 with my build and a RTT on top (clamshell style)
