Best tool to trim front bumper in 5th gen.

Need to trim just a 1/4" off my front bumper, got slight rub at full lock reverse. I was thinking a 3" x 1/16" cut off wheel on a pneumatic panel cutter that I already own but it might be to aggressive. Id like it to look as clean as possible. I dont own a dremel tool but that might be another option.
Dont have MS paint but Im talking about the edge where I pushed the wheel well forward.
PS I searched and the only pics were on 3rd gen.

Why not heatgun soften that corner and push it in? yea it'll look melted but you'll still have protection and no one will see it under there. I did this for splash guard plastic that covers crossmember.

A razor blade works wonders, I also heated it up with a heat gun which makes it cut like butter but as long as your blade is sharp and you make several small passes it won't be a problem.

I used a 4.5" angle grinder with a regular cutoff wheel on my rocker panels, makes VERY short work of cutting plastic. So be steady and focused, then just clean up the shmetzle left behind with a rasp or file.

Just use a Utility knife or razor blade and take your time with it. That plastic is super soft, i tried using a Dremel at first and it worked okay, but basically just melted it. i ended up trying to clean it up with a utility knife and razor blade.

Just cut up my rear plastic this weekend for a plate bumper, jig saw with a high tpi (20+) metal cutting blade produced a super smooth edge. No burning like with a grinder or dremel, and no sanding

Ya know- I've carried a knife with me virtually every day for the last 30 years, but I just started daily-carrying my knife and a Leatherman about 6 or 7 years ago.

If I had a dollar for every time I took that thing out for something...I don't know how I ever did without it!

I have a limited, and am wanting to trim the bumpers to match my Shrockworks Rocker Panel height.
Anyone have any pics of their Limited with trimmed bumpers?

I used a dremel. Yes is does melt the plastic some, but you can pick off the melted piece with your fingers.

I also sanded then used touch up paint to clean it up.

ALSO I went the extra mile & purchased this door edger guard to clean up the cut to a factory looking edge. Looks spiffy!!
