Best way to clean a beer growler w/o a dish washer

If it's glass, you can just use a 10:1 water/bleach solution, followed up by a liberal rinsing, then a few drops of Dawn and some hot water to really clean it up.

Go to any place that sells home brewing supplies and get a bottle brush.

Literally the smallest drop of Dawn, hot water, shake the hell out of it. Rinse and shake, and repeat till there is no soapy water. Bleach works to, but I like soap, I feel like i'm doing more, can see something going on.

I agree with the Dawn method, but I flip mine over and use the hose sprayer to rinse. Otherwise the bubbles take forever to rinse out.

Actually, doesn't the brewery wash them out before a refill anyway?

need a bottle brush. Ill try the dawn method today and use the upsidedown nozzle treatment ot get rid of the bubbles. Then go get it filled ....again.

Or massive quantities...but get help!

i buy a refillable keg and 2nd fridge for the garage.

if you're refilling it from the place you got it, ask them to exchange it out for ya, no biggie. otherwise, dawn and shake
