Best year???

I'm still debating the purchase of a 4runner. I'm set on one, just not sure if I want a 3rd or 4th gen. I'd take a 4th gen, but they are really out of my price range. If I go with the 3rd gen, I'm set on a 99-02 (had a 97 and I really like the upgrades with the 99). I know there were some minor changes from 99-02, but really not sure about them. I'm looking mainly at the Limited or Sport trims. For a daily driver (and no trail action), would you guys recommend one year over another? Thanks!

Go with the 99' Limited!

What makes the 99 Limited so special? That's actually one I'm looking at right now, so that would work out well.

If I were you id get an 02.

If you know that you won't be off roading for sure, I would recommend an 02 Sport.

But if you have a 99 in mind for buying, go for it, as long as the price is fair.
