Better Projector Fog Light screws

I had the same issue. I took one of the screws to a local Fastenal store and picked up STAINLESS STEEL, Phillips Head screws which eliminates this problem in the future. They are tough as nails!

thanks for providing the reference of Fastenal. I did a search and we have several of these shops in LA, so I am calling around to find what I need hoping one of the stores will have these.

so one of these screws broke in 1/2 while trying to unscrew it from the cover leaving a piece inside the hole where it screws in to. Any suggestions on how to get this piece out or am I screwed!

I have one that snapped on mine too. I think we are screwed as mine snapped with just a tiny bit sticking out. If it were deeper in, you could drill it out and then tap it.
Anyone have these screws still available?

I just got new fogs for xmas for my wife. I'm thinking i'm going to take them apart before I put them on the car and hit the screws with some anti-seize. This helped a ton after some stripped screw heads on the fogs on my Honda.

Thanks for the info though on replacement screw size. I'm going to give my method a try from the beginning since they are new and hope it works/helps.
