Beware if buying this 4runner.. I carfaxed

I saw this rig in person, looks decent, the owner however is a bit shady. The ODO says 176xxx. I ran a carfax, (its saved on my HDD) it was titled in 2008 @ 226k miles. and again in 2010 with 244k miles.

I also ran the vin on toyota.com/owner and it had maintence done @ 229xxx

I emailed the seller and informed him that he was busted. I emailed from my spam email. The point, pull it down. Other wise, the the local fraud unit will be informed.

FYI, it is a felony to falsify mileage. This includes, what I suspect, is altering the odometer.

Why lie about it ya know, he could be forthright about the mileage and I would've offered 3kish for it... oh well the guy has been trying to sell it for a while
