I have a 99 limited 4x4 and i am going to get new tires in less than a month. I want to get the goodrich A/T's because i like an aggressive look. But my boss keeps telling me that the A/T's only look good on the SR5 and not the limited. I was wondering if anyone has a picture of A/T's on a limited so i could see what they would look like. Thanks

You're boss has his head up his ass. They're tires, not a color keyed accessory.

Do you like the look of BFG AT's? If so, then get them. Look at the 3rd gen picture gallery thread, you will see limited's with all kind of aggressive tires. They look great.

EDIT: Page 94 of the 3rd gen picture gallery has a limited with BFG AT's... Head up his ass. It looks great.

WTF. If i had a boss that said something that stupid I would be seriously worrying about the company, and Just fyi later year sr5's have the"limited " flares so idk what he is even talking about

if you like the tires and want them then get them and tell you boss to shut the F up, unless he wants to pay for the tires, or they are going on his truck... its your truck, your money, and your tires so to me that means your choice. i once had a boss like that and he was the biggest d!ck, i did some work for him a couple of years ago on the side for a couple weeks and that was the first time my wife ever met him, after i was done working that job, she asked me to never work for him again cause she thought he was the most arrogant bas**** and self infatuated d!ck... she said she didnt care if we lived in a tent shed rather i not work for a jerk like him lol...

so screw what your boss says he obviously doesn't know what hes talking about...

ps i dont care for the BFG AT tires myself but a lot of guys run them and like them, they are not a bad tire and i do think they look good on a 4runner!

I love threads like this.

Just waiting for all the other people to come in and rep their tires over the BFG.

I ran BFG A/T's before and they were just fine. People who claim that they're too hard to drive with in rain and that they're bad... blah blah... just too damn picky. Get what you like.

I roll some chunked up KM2's that are loud as fack on the road, I don't complain because I know what I bought.

hahaha. Thanks for all the feedback everyone. good ****! You guys have convinced me that he's a moron and i am definitely going to get them. THANKS

Definitely black wall out. My last car was a zr2 blazer and i had the bf goodrich mud-terrains on it with the white lettering out. About a month after i had put them on, i wished i had gone with the black walls out.

Bfg at

Here is what White Letter out looks like on a Black T4r. Not the greatest picture but you get the idea. They are 265/75/16s.

Personally, I like white letters out. My 4runner currently has BFG AT KOs with the white letters in because that's how the previous owner mounted them. Of course, the P.O. kept the running boards on, too, so I know he didn't do any real off roading. :P

My tires need replacing soon, I'll stick with the KOs but probably go to a "pizza cutter" 235/85/16 size (I ran that size on my Taco and liked them) and will definitely have them mounted with the white letters OUT.

I have an SR5 w/limited trim and run 285/75 bfg AT's and love 'em, I think there on road manners are excellent and off road they do the job. I have seen bfg at's on a subaru wagon and they looked good, a little weird cuz I didn't think they made them that small but it looked good.
