BFG A/T tire opinion

im looking to upgrade my tires to 35/12.5/17. i have 2 cooper discover SST one good one not as, figured would use them as a spare. have found some nitto mud grapplers with one tire shot and other 3 1/8-1/4 in left, know i can get these after i sell my tires i have on. just found some BFG 315/70/17, said have 50% left, wondering how good they are in mud. any opinions would be great.

They fill up pretty quick in the mud, but they also self clean pretty quickly too. Honestly I think they are a better offroad tire than the M/T's, I was able to get more traction in more places than my KM2's can. Way better in the ice and snow if you see much of that too.

a problem with the ones i have now is packing up. and im wanting to change them out before the snow hits here, when we get it it gets kinda bad. tires that do good in mud is my #1

they have 8/32-9/32 tread, that worth anything? for $250?

My BFGs see only road rocks and sand. I really cant comment on mud and snow. But its been an awesome tire for me. I'm almost at 40000 miles on them and have over half the tread left.
