BFG All Terrains 4th gen

Im thinking of replacing my tires soon, I really want BFG All Terrains but I read somewhere they may rub even with the stock size? Is that true?

I just put BFG ATs on my '04 Limited a month ago. I went up one size to 265/70/17 and had no problems. Full crank in reverse on uneven ground is the only time I've heard the tire lightly scrub the plastic fender liner. I wasn't too concerned since I was doing the FJ swap for lift anyways.

The tires are awesome. Slightly more road noise than my old Cross Terrains but not bad and they look awesome. Can't wait for snow.

I used to have BFGs with 265/70/17 and they rub a tad bit on my UCAs when i do a u-turn.

so I'm guessing with the stock size, I wont get any rubbing? can anyone confirm this? Im going to have this car for a long long time so I dont want anything getting damaged

From what I've read on here, the 265/65/17s (I have an '08 Sport) wouldn't rub, and I've read many times that 265/70/17 would fit fine, all except for the BFG AT KO's, and that they would rub because of their square'ish design/shape? So, I'm pretty sure if you went with stock 265/65/17 BFGs, you'd be fine.
I almost pulled the trigger on BFG's myself, but I like the looks of my Duratracs more, plus I think they'll ride in wet, slop, and snow a bit better, and we get a lot of that crap weather around here! ::looking out the window:: *sigh* Nothing but rain!

I hear the stock size should be fine but the 265/70R16 will rub. I just put on the 265/70R17 Hankook Dynapro ATMs and they do not rub at all. The BFGs were in my top 3 though.
