I just picked a set of 275/55/20 KO2s last night. In addition to the reduced price, there is also $120 off and free shipping.

The only caveat is that there is sales tax if there is a 4WheelParts store in your state. Friggin Cali charged me over 10% in sales and tire taxes.

Been looking at these tires for a few months now, but now this just gave me a better reason to pull the trigger! $700 after taxes and bullshit CA fees, not bad!

Now i just need to buy a set of wheels and the 4runner will be good for a while... until I buy suspension. This forum makes it REALLY hard to not want to buy more parts!:noidea:

Is everyone going with the E rated tires? I was looking at the C rated because they are only 45lbs a piece. But the max load is 2470 vs 2535 on the Dunlop at20. Would this difference be dangerous?

Since the Dunlop is a P rated tire I believe you have to multiply the max load by approximately .91 when it is used on a LT or SUV. That makes the max load for a 4Runner ~2306. Talk to your tire shop, the C rated BFGs will be fine.

The only 17" KO2 with a "C" rating is the 265. From the BFG web page:

Yes they will, I just got a set installed this morning.

They matched price but didn't want to buy my stock tires on top of the discount so I took them home. Going on craigslist.
My brother got discount to match today in Indianapolis for his FJ also.

I've actually been waiting for today to go in to 4 Wheel Parts and order my wheels and tires at there "Monster Sale", which supposedly is only today 10/10/15. The 285/70r17 are $236-$50-$70 which ends up being ~$206 per tire for a set of 4. They are also going to match Discount Tire's price on the wheels which for some reason is ~$20/wheel less than 4WP (and anywhere else online).

I know 4WP doesn't have the best reputation for their installs, but labor is also 10% today and I have $50 gift card, so when all is said and done I'm sure they can handle the mounting and balancing & I'll be saving some good money.

Same info I was told....buy 265's x 4 or 275's x 5? Wonder how much I can get for 5 OEM Duelers (4 with 5k miles) on Craigslist??

I stuck with 265's and bought 4.
Bridgestones on CG for $250 for the set with 800 miles on them hopefully for a quick sale.
