Hello all!
I'm going to be picking up a 5th gen Trail here in the next month or so and I'm trying to plan ahead for tires. I worked at a Goodyear dealer for a few years so I have a decent tire knowledge. That said, I was wondering if any of you guys have ran these tires, or any other E load (265/70/17) mud terrain tires on your otherwise stock Trails?
The BFG KM2s seem to have the best tread design for a decent (and quiet, for a mud tire at least) ride on the freeway while still retaining a great off road performance.
I really liked the Goodyear MTRs I had on a Mazda pickup I used to have, but the new asymmetrical tread design Goodyear came out with has turned me off from those.
Any other mud tire suggestions? I'm thinking about picking up a second set of wheels and putting the mud terrains on those and getting a more street friendly set of BFG All Terrain T/As to daily drive around on.
Thanks in advance for any feedback I get.
-Kyle
