The only rough part, however, is what they want to consider as an "import" vehicle.

Is a Dodge Ram or Jeep Grand Cherokee built in Mexico considered a 'domestic' vehicle? What about a Ford Crown Vic assembled in Canada? Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Honda all have factories here in the USA, so are they still 'imports' in your mind?

The line is indeed blurry, no?


Nonetheless, that ad is very, very cool; since it contains a great deal of truth. Kiss that 25+ billion goodbye, folks.

I think there are a few areas where American manufacturers surpass foreign manufacturers.

Yeah that whole free market thing is kind of a *****, isn't it? Oh well, that ad is hilarious! At the very least I think Chrysler should be cut out of the deal. They pulled the same bs back in the '70s and obviously did not learn anything from it.
