BIG BANG, no 2WD

so.....

I took apart the rear end. it turns out that one of the axle shafts broke between the wheel bearing and the ABS toner ring.

Ordered parts, next I have to get a shop to tear the shafts apart and replace bearings and seals and install a new shaft.

awesome! that's good bad news! haha

easier and cheaper than a new 3rd member

That is good news but wow- that is one place I would never expect a failure.
I sure would have bet that the diff gears would go before the shaft
