3n16 was impassable towards polique canyon 2n09, and could not get thru to fawnskin either. sundays storm dumped a lot of snow so there will definitely be snow. I'll be on cb 12 if you need anything Brian.

I've got a ham with non repeater channels dialed in but we'll make it work.
I have one too I have not used and only carry in case of emergencies, let me know what frequency and I'll have it on too! Talked to a buddy that went up yesterday and tried to run gold mountain, there were 4 foot snow drifts and they could not get thru on a jk with 35 inch tires.

How's everyone doing in Big Bear? Lots of snow and ice here in Lake Arrowhead.

A lot of icy roads in Big Bear. Van Dusen was closed, Holcomb Valley rd had a lot of snow and was slushy. Had to pull out a stuck jeep there. Then went on Fawnskin and tried to go up to Big Pine but it was impassible. Stuck jeeps everywhere.

It's really not worth the drive. Every road we came across was impassable. We tried both the South side of 3N16 via Green Valley Lake area and the N East entrance to 3N16 via Crab Flats Campground. Completely impassable even for Jeeps with 37s.
I enjoyed the day trip although we did barely any off roading.
