Big bear area Camping 8/6, 8/7

I have fri. 8/6 off work and plan on camping in the big bear area Fri. and Sat. night. Plan on hitting a trail or two each day come home Sun. evening All are invited.

Hey driffter33 I plan on going to big bear on the 7th and possibly camping till the 8th. There is an event called takeover it is being held by ttora. I know pikeman would be there so hopefully can meet up with you. Would let you know if I would be camping don't know quite yet, might just make it a day trip.
 
Cool ya let me know I would like to wheel with you and pikeman are you planning on attending takeover events? Regestering?
 
Cool just started registration process to TTORA. As soon as I'm approved I will be registering for the takeover also see you there.
 
I can't seem to figure out how to register for the take over. I'm at the ttora site but I keep getting form not available or something like that. Anyone got the link to the registration?
 
I had that problem to this morning, was hoping it was do to the fact that I was not logged onto the site. That is why I registered with the site. I am still waiting for approval email from moderater. I hope they haven't closed registration.
 
I'm not sure what's up with the registration either, I'll try to send ShowStop a PM (he's the organizer over on ttora). I have plans Sat the 7th, but I just realized it's a 3 day event so I think I wil probably go on friday or sunday. Are you talking campground camping or real camping Driffter33?
 
Well, maybe if you come out fri (I have fri off) we can go scope out a spot together. Do you know where the meeting place for the Takeover is?
 
So I Have Friday 8/6/10 off I have already booked a room for Thu night 8/5/10 and plan on running the morning trail run meeting time 7am. then spend the afternoon scouting for a camping site, unless I spy one out on the morning trail run. then camping Fri and sat night come home Sunday evening.

Brian2sun it would be great to hook up on fri and scope out a site, thought you had plans for sat though.:shrug:

None the less I plan on having a great weekend.:cheers:

My sat. plans aren't until the afternoon so I was thinking of maybe wheeling on fri, camping fri night, wheelin a little sat morning, then take off and maybe come back to camp sat night and wheel some more on sun!
